School Supply List

 

Frances W. McClenney School Supply Lists 2025-2026

  Kindergarten 

  • Change of clothes (complete set of underwear, socks, pants, and shirt. Send them in a bag with their name on it on the first day of school.)
  • 1 sturdy school box 
  • 2 Primary pencils 
  • 1 box of 8 count Crayola Crayons (other brands of crayons break after first use and are not true to color)
  • 6 glue sticks 
  • 1 bottle of ELMERS WHITE liquid glue 
  • 1 pair of scissors *If your child is left-handed, they will need left-handed scissors  
  • 4 full-size boxes of tissues 
  • Boys: 1 box Ziploc quart baggies
  • Girls: 1 box of Ziploc gallon baggies
  • 2 regular sized packages of baby wipes (not lysol wipes)
  •  Clear Backpack (full size)

Students will also need school supplies for home practice. 

Teachers will contact you when supplies need to be replenished.

1st Grade 

  • Headphones
  • Sharpened Pencils (3 packs)
  • Cap Erasers (3 packs)
  • Children’s Scissors
  • Glue Sticks (6)
  • Paper towels (3 rolls) 
  • Crayons
  • A container or pouch to hold crayons and pencils
  • Baby wipes (2 packs) 
  • Clorox or cleaning wipes (2 packs) 
  • Tissues (3 boxes) 
  • Black and White Composition Notebooks (2) 
  • Dry erase markers
  • Colored Pencils
  • Sandwich-size storage bags
  • Gallon storage bags


 

2nd Grade 

  • 1 pair of headphones or earbuds (headphones preferred)
  • 3 bottles of hand sanitizer (8oz or greater)
  • 2 containers of Clorox wipes (or Generic)
  • 4 boxes of tissues
  • 2 rolls of paper towels
  • 2 boxes of Ziploc bags (1 quart, 1 gallon)
  • 3 dozen pencils (yellow pencils-plastic wrapped pencils do not sharpen well)
  • 4 dry-erase markers - black 
  • 1 plastic pencil box
  • 2 reams of copy paper
  • 1 pair of child-safe scissors
  • 2 packages of wide-ruled paper
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 2 boxes of crayons
  • 1 box colored pencils
  • 2 packs or index cards
  • 5 Marble composition books (1 for each subject)
  • 1 backpack
  • 5 folders with brads and pockets

 

3rd Grade

● 1 Two-inch, three ring binder 

● 1 Pair of headphones (inexpensive headphones that will stay at school) 

● 2 Packages of 12 number #2 pencils 

● 5 Composition notebooks 

● 3 Pocket folders with brads 

● 2 Packages of notebook paper Wide Ruled 

● 5 Glue sticks 

● 2 Boxes Crayola 24 count crayons 

● 1 Pair scissors 

● 3 Boxes of tissues 

● 2 Boxes of gallon sized Ziploc bags 

● 1 Roll of paper towels 

● 2 Small bottles of hand sanitizers 

● 1 Container of Clorox wipes 

● 1 Ream of white computer paper 

● 1 Pack of index dividers 

● Ruler 

● 5 Plastic folders /prongs (red, blue, green, yellow, orange)

 ● 1 Pack of yellow highlighters 

● 1 Pack thin dry erase markers (black) 

● 1 Mask 

● 1 Pack erasers (pink or pencil top erasers) 

● Old sock, wash cloth, or small sponge (eraser for whiteboards) 

● Pencil pouch 

● 2 Pencil sharpeners with shell case 

● 1 Box of sandwich bags 

● Index cards

4th Grade 

  • 5 composition notebooks 
  • 5 solid plastic colored folders 
  • 2 packs of #2 pencils 
  • 1 four-pack of highlighters
  • 8 glue sticks (no glue bottles) 
  • 4 packs of wide-ruled lined paper 
  • 2 packs of copy paper (white) 
  • 4 boxes of tissues 
  • 2 rolls of paper towels 
  • 1 pack of crayons 
  • 1 pack of markers 
  • 2 backs of baby wipes (1 is for art) 
  • 2 tubs of Clorox wipes 
  • 2 large bottles of hand sanitizer 

If you can’t purchase everything on the list, start at the top and work your way down. The most important items are at the top!

Fifth Grade

  • 1 pair of headphones
  • 2 packages of notebook paper

  • 1 blue spiral notebook for Spanish
  • 5 packs of pencils

  • 2 packs of disposable cups
  • 1 ream of colored cardstock (any color)
  • 3 bottles of hand sanitizer
  • 3 packs of Clorox or Lysol wipes
  • 2 rolls of paper towels
  • 1 packages of quart size (sandwich) storage bags
  • 1 package of gallon size storage bags
  • 1 pack of index cards
  • 1 pencil box or pouch
