Family Engagement Plan
At Frances W. McClenney Elementary, we believe parents, caregivers, families and schools are partners in helping every child succeed.
What Families Can Expect
- Annual Title I Meeting – held each fall to explain the program, parent rights, and school goals.
- Family Learning Events – at least two per year (fall & spring) with strategies to support learning at home.
- Flexible Meetings – conferences and events held after school, with childcare or interpreters available when needed.
- Regular Updates – progress reports, teacher communication, and curriculum information shared throughout the year.

How Families Can Be Involved
- Join the Parent Leadership Council.
- Share feedback at family events or through surveys.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and school events.
- Review and comment on the schoolwide plan (posted online each year).
- Volunteer or observe in classrooms (as available).
